Abstract

This article discusses a case of septic gangrene of the foot in an elderly woman, whose prognosis was poor given that amputation of the leg below the knee had been advised. Full cure was effected by Dr. Samarendra Prasad Mishra, using the drugs Gunpowder and Pyrogen with topical dressings of Calendula-Q.
