Zusammenfassung
Crosslink – Physiologie und Therapie: Bei Patienten mit erhöhter oder verminderter Beweglichkeit diagnostizieren Manualtherapeuten häufig Hypo- und Hypermobilitäten im Bindegewebe. Für die Therapie lohnt sich ein Blick auf die zugrunde liegenden (Patho-)Mechanismen. Dort gibt es therapierelevante Prozesse und Strukturen – beispielsweise die kontraktionsfähigen Myofibroblasten. Immobilisation aktiviert den Strukturmix aus Fibroblast und glatter Muskelzelle nicht nur, bei fehlender Bewegung legen die Myofibroblasten auch zahlenmäßig zu.
