Zusammenfassung

Chronisch kritisch kranke Patienten leiden während ihres langen Aufenthalts auf der Intensivstation und danach an einer Vielzahl belastender Symptome wie Schmerz, Durst oder Müdigkeit. Beim Symptommanagement haben Pflegende eine zentrale Aufgabe. Sie benötigen spezifisches Wissen, um die Symptome angepasst behandeln zu können. Der erste Teil unserer Serie über CCI gibt einen Überblick über die Interventionen, die Pflegende anbieten können.
