Zusammenfassung

Bor wird bisher als nichtessenzielles Spurenelement bewertet. Es deuten sich aber positive Wirkungen im Knochenstoffwechsel, bei entzündlichen Gelenkerkrankungen sowie bei der Gehirnfunktion an. Möglicherweise hat Bor zudem einen günstigen Einfluss auf das individuelle Krebsrisiko. Bisher fehlen jedoch noch umfangreiche Studien, um die bisher vorliegenden Daten zu untermauern.
