Der klinische Fall Hämorrhagische Nekrose eines Leberlappens beim Pferd

Der klinische Fall

Ein 12-jähriger Warmblutwallach wurde aufgrund eines akuten Schockgeschehens in die Klinik überwiesen. Nach der klinischen Untersuchung und weiterführender Diagnostik wurden eine Peritonitis sowie eine Pleuritis unbekannter Genese diagnostiziert. Bei der Probelaparotomie wurde eine nekrotische Veränderung des linken lateralen Leberlappens festgestellt; aufgrund des Befundes wurde das Pferd euthanasiert. Bei der postmortalen pathohistologischen Untersuchung der Leber wurde eine thrombotisch bedingte hämorrhagische Nekrose diagnostiziert.
