Diabetes mellitus ist eine wichtige Endokrinopathie der Katze. Die Diagnosestellung erfolgt in der Regel schnell und einfach. Das Erreichen einer guten glykämischen Kontrolle kann hingegen weitaus schwieriger sein. Bei manchen Tieren ist bereits ein Insulinwechsel der Schlüssel zu einer erfolgreichen Regulation, bei anderen werden die Probleme durch begleitende Erkrankungen verursacht. Lesen Sie anhand von Fallbeispielen, wie Sie solche Patienten erfolgreich therapieren.
