Abstract
A 28-year-old man presented with a disproportionate enlargement of the fourth finger of the left hand since birth. This patient appeared to have a combination of lipofibromatous hamartoma and macrodystrophia lipomatosa. Surgical success was gained after elevation of a “vascularised digital nerve flap” and the distal resection. This method has not been described previously. We believe that it can be useful in selected cases.
Zusammenfassung
Ein 28-jähriger Mann stelle sich mit einem angeborenen Riesenwuchs des linken Ringfingers vor. Vom klinischen Aspekt her handelte es sich um eine Kombination eines lipomatösen Hamartoms mit einer Macrodystrophia lipomatosa. Die Behandlung erfolgte durch eine Ausdünnung des Fingers und gleichzeitige Kürzung des Gefäß-Nerven-Bündels distal mit Neueinbettung in die Weichteile. Dieses Verfahren ist unseres Wissens bis dato nicht beschrieben. Wir glauben, dass es in besonderen Fällen hilfreich sein kann.
