Alfaxalon (Alfaxan^®) zur Einleitung von Inhalationsnarkosen beim Kaninchen – ein Erfahrungsbericht

Inhalationsnarkosen werden aufgrund ihrer guten Steuerbarkeit und relativ hohen Sicherheit häufig für chirurgische Eingriffe beim Kaninchen verwandt. Während reine Inhalationsnarkosen für diagnostische Zwecke und kleinere Eingriffe und Manipulationen in der Regel auszureichen scheinen, ist für die abdominale Chirurgie aufgrund der höheren Schmerzhaftigkeit eine analgetisch-sedative Prämedikation erforderlich.
