Transthorakale Echokardiografie in der Anästhesie – Fallberichte

Zusammenfassung

Die transthorakalen Echokardiografie (TTE) ist eine Untersuchungsmethode, die schnell verfügbar ist und eine hohe Aussagequalität und -quantität hat. In der Kardiologie und Kardiochirurgie ist die TTE inzwischen fest etabliert; das diagnostische Verfahren ist darüber hinaus aber auch eine interessante Option für Fachgebiete wie die Anästhesie und Intensivmedizin. Anhand von 3 Fallberichten sollen die Bedeutung und die Möglichkeiten der transthorakalen Echokardiografie im anästhesiologischen, nicht kardiochirurgischen Kontext beschrieben werden.

Abstract

Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) is a well established tool in cardiology and cardiosurgery. The rapid availability of TTE, combined with high quality and quantity of diagnostic messages, provides the user an interesting option in the area of anesthesia and intensive care medicine. The presenting case reports describe the importance and possibilities of transthoracic echocardiography for anaesthetists in the non-cardiosurgical area.
