Schutzimpfungen in medizinischen Einrichtungen

Auch selten gewordene Infektionskrankheiten treten vermehrt in medizinischen Einrichtungen auf. Für alle Mitarbeiter in diesen Bereichen ist daher ein Schutz vor diesen Erkrankungen dringend zu empfehlen. Bis auf die Impfung gegen Influenza und Hepatitis A gehören die Impfungen gegen diese Erkrankungen – Hepatitis B, Pertussis, Masern, Mumps, Röteln, Polio, Varizellen – zu den Standardimpfungen, die heute alle unsere Kinder erhalten. Die Empfehlungen für diese Impfungen sind aber zum Teil neueren Datums, sodass etliche Erwachsene diese Impfungen als Kinder nicht bekommen haben, z. B. die Hepatitis B-, die Varizellen oder die zweite MMR-Impfung. Daher ist eine Überprüfung und gegebenenfalls eine Vervollständigung des Impfstatus aller Mitarbeiter in medizinischen Einrichtungen dringend geboten.
