Maggi Lidchi-Grassi is a noted writer and poet, her magnum opus being a three-volume
version of the great Indian epic the “Mahabharata”, recently reprinted as a single
volume by Random House. The question of the evolution of consciousness and her own
yoga brought her to India. She has been living in the Sri Aurobindu Ashram since 1959
where she was Mother's personal secretary for several years. Also she has been responsible
for a home for abandoned children. With her partner she is currently planning a meditation
retreat centre at the borders of Auroville called “Stillness”. Maggi has a deep interest
in homeopathy's potential to improve the racial consciousness. She studied homeopathy
in Italy and Greece. She is founder of the movement “Healing in Evolution” and in
1987 in Auroville organised a multi-disciplinary international congress, which was
opened by Dr. Diwan Harish Chand, and led by George Vithoulkas. In 1997 she founded
the Quiet Healing Centre in Auroville which opened with a seminar with Rajan Sankaran,
Divya Chhabra, Jayesh Shah and Misha Norland. In LINKS issue 2/2010 she introduced
the remedies Harmony and Samata.
