Die operative Therapie der rheumatischen Schulter

Zusammenfassung

Im Verlauf der rheumatischen Erkrankung ist das Schultergelenk immer in das Krankheitsgeschehen mit einbezogen. Durch die Kompensationsmöglichkeiten der Nachbargelenke werden Operationen an der Schulter oft erst in fortgeschrittenen Stadien durchgeführt. Entscheidend für die Funktion der Schulter ist die intakte Weichteilsituation, diese gilt es durch eine frühzeitige Intervention zu erhalten. Mit Destruktion der Gelenkflächen werden endoprothetische Versorgungen nötig, um neben der Schmerzreduktion die Beweglichkeit und Eigenversorgungsmöglichkeit zu erhalten.

Abstract

The shoulder joint is always involved in the disease process of rheumatoid arthritis. Because of the compensation options of the adjacent joints at the surgery on the shoulder is often performed in advanced stages. Critical for the function of the shoulder are intact soft tissues, especially the rotator cuff, and this should be retained if necessary through an early intervention. After the destruction of the articular surfaces, endoprosthetic measures are needed to obtain pain relief in addition to ensuring the patient's mobility and self-care ability.
