Mediastinale Zyste

Fallvorstellung

Eine 20-jährige Patientin wurde von ihrem Hausarzt notfallmäßig überwiesen mit progredienten, seit über 4 Monaten bestehenden Schmerzen zervikal und im Bereich des Schultergürtels sowie febrilen Temperaturen. Sie litt außerdem unter einem atemabhängigen, thorakalen Druckgefühl. Bei der Erstuntersuchung fielen ein Gesichtserythem, eine Klopfdolenz über der HWS und erhöhte Entzündungsparameter auf. Bei Verdacht auf eine systemisch-entzündliche Grunderkrankung wurde eine MRT der HWS und BWS zum Ausschluss einer Spondylodiszitis durchgeführt.
