Dass die Schuppenflechte eine entzündliche Hauterkrankung mit Rötung, Schuppung und Bläschenbildung ist, einhergehend mit stark beschleunigten Wachstum der oberen Hautschicht, dürfte allen Betroffenen bekannt sein [18]. Die Einteilung in mehrere klinische Phänotypen (Psoriasis vulgaris, Psoriasis pustulosa, Psoriasis arthropathica, psoriatische Erythrodermie) ist einstimmig anerkannt, bringt aber wenig Einblick in die Pathogenese dieser Erkrankung.
