Die perkutane laparoskopische Leistenbruchkorrektur beim Kind

Zusammenfassung

Die laparoskopische Leistenbruchkorrektur beim Kind war bislang umstritten u. a. aufgrund der bislang höheren Rezidivrate im Vergleich zur konventionellen offenen Herniotomie. Durch die Einführung minimalinvasiver perkutaner, teilweise extraperitonealer Korrekturverfahren wurden die Ergebnisse auch hinsichtlich der Rezidivhäufigkeit signifikant verbessert. Dies dokumentieren umfangreiche klinische Studien wie auch die Erfahrungen in unserer Klinik.

Abstract

Laparoscopic repair of inguinal hernia in children is not established in the clinical routine so far. ­Especially the higher rate of recurrences was the main reason to choose open conventional herniotomy. With the development of microinvasive percutaneous extraperitoneal closure, the recurrence rate decreased significantly and is now comparable to that after open hernia repair. Dif­fer­ent clinical studies as well as our own experience have confirmed these outcomes.
