Lernziele
Die transiente globale Amnesie (TGA) ist durch eine akut einsetzende Störung aller Gedächtnisinhalte (visuell, taktil, verbal) für einen Zeitraum von 1 – 24 h gekennzeichnet. Sie wird mit einem erhöhten Schlaganfallrisiko in Verbindung gebracht und von den Patienten und Angehörigen häufig als belastend empfunden. Tatsächlich handelt es sich nach heutigem Kenntnisstand um ein gutartiges Krankheitsbild, das aber sorgfältig von anderen mit Gedächtnisstörungen einhergehenden Erkrankungen differenziert werden sollte. Die folgende Übersicht soll helfen, sicher eine TGA zu diagnostizieren, mögliche Differenzialdiagnosen nicht zu übersehen und dabei die notwendige Diagnostik ökonomisch einzusetzen.
