Stellenwert der Schmerztherapie in der Onkologie

Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag gibt praktische Empfehlungen für die Schmerztherapie von Tumorpatienten und einen adäquaten Einsatz von Opioiden. Die Schmerztherapie dieser Patienten sollte sich an dem WHO-Stufenschema orientieren, wobei Opiate, die als reine µ-Agonisten wirken, besonders gut geeignet sind. Empfehlenswert ist, die Stufe II zu überspringen und von Anfang an mit Analgetika der Stufe III zu behandeln. NSAR sollten aufgrund der hohen Morbidität und Mortalität zurückhaltend eingesetzt werden.

Abstract

This article gives some hands-on recommendations for the pain therapy of tumor patients and an adequate use of opioids. Pain therapy for these patients should go along the WHO schemata. Opioids acting as pure µ-agonists are highly qualified for these treatments. It is recommended to skip stage II and to start with stage III analgesics. The use of NSAR should be limited due to its high morbidity and mortality.
