Diagnostic value of the Tentorial Arteries of the Carotid Siphon (Angiographic study of a case of falcotentorial angioma)

Analysis of the data in the literature on the tentorial arteries of the carotid siphon and review of their diagnostic value. Description of a personal case of falcotentorial vascular malformation in which the blood supply came from the external carotid arteries and the tentorial arteries of the carotid siphons on both sides.

Eine Analyse der Literaturangaben über die tentoriellen Arterien vom Carotissyphon und Überblick über ihren diagnostischen Wert. Beschreibung eines persönlichen Falles einer vaskulären Mißbildung im Bereich von Falx und Tentorium, bei welcher der Blutzufluß von den Aa. carot. ext. und den tentoriellen Arterien beider Carotissyphone kam.

Analyse des documents de la littérature concernant les artères tentorielles partant du siphon carotidien ainsi que de leur valeur diagnostique. Description d'un cas personnel d'une malformation falcotentorielle où l'apport sanguin se faisait des deux côtés par les carotides externes et par des artères tentorielles émanant des siphons carotidiens.

Resumen

Análisis de los datos bibliográficos sobre las arterias tentoriales del sifón carotídeo y revisión de su valor diagnóstico. Descripción de un caso personal de malformación vascular falcotentorial, cuya irrigación sanguínea provenía de la arteria carótida externa y de la arteria tentorial del sifón carotídeo, de ambos lados.
