Süßer Honig, bittere Wirkung? Synkope nach Genuss von türkischem Honig

Zusammenfassung

Eine ungewöhnliche Ursache für eine Synkope stellt die Vergiftung durch türkischen Honig und das darin enthaltende Grayanotoxin dar. Neben vielen unspezifischen Symptomen kann es zu Bradykardien und thorakalen Beschwerden kommen, die eine Abklärung eines akuten Koronarsyndroms oder neben der Gabe von Atropin und Flüssigkeit auch die Anlage eines passageren Schrittmachers nötig machen.

Abstract

An uncommon reason of a syncope ist the intoxication with grayanotoxine contaminated honey. Beside very unspecific symptoms this intoxication can lead to bradycardia and thoracal pain, which makes it necessary to clarify a acute coronary syndrome. Furthermore it may be necessary to give atropine and saline infusions or to implant a temporary pacenmaker.
