Fazit für die Praxis

Anhand der aktuellen Daten lässt sich derzeit keine Empfehlung zur präoperativen MMC-Instillation vor RNU aussprechen. Die Daten suggerieren, dass Patienten ohne vorherige dURS von einer Intervention (MMC vs. Spülung vs. frühes Clippen des Ureters) profitieren könnten. Insgesamt bestätigt die Studie jedoch, dass die Indikation zur dURS bei Tumorverdacht restriktiv gestellt werden sollte. Ob in den Fällen, in denen eine dURS dennoch erfolgt ist, eine perioperative MMC-Instillation das Risiko für IVR senken kann, ist Gegenstand aktueller Studien.
