Dental Monitoring in der Kieferorthopädie

Dental Monitoring stellt eine innovative digitale Lösung im Bereich der Kieferorthopädie dar, die die Fernüberwachung des Fortschritts kieferorthopädischer Behandlungen ermöglicht. Durch den Einsatz einer speziellen App und einer Scanbox erfassen Patientinnen und Patienten regelmäßig Fotos oder Videos ihrer Zähne, die anschließend über das Smartphone an die Praxis übermittelt werden. In diesem Artikel wird näher auf das Dental Monitoring System eingegangen und neben den technischen Grundlagen und der Funktionsweise werden auch Einsatzmöglichkeiten bei unterschiedlichen kieferorthopädischen Behandlungen vorgestellt.
