Peripartale Depressionen bei Vätern

Depressionen in der Schwangerschaft und nach der Geburt betreffen nicht nur Mütter, sondern auch Väter. Mit einer Prävalenz von etwa 5–10% stellt die väterliche postpartale Depression eine ernst zu nehmende Herausforderung für das Gesundheitssystem dar. Leider werden viele Betroffen nicht diagnostiziert oder behandelt, mit teils erheblichen negativen Langzeitfolgen für Vater, Kind und Familie.
