Getriggert – Effekte myofaszialer Triggerpunkt-Therapie
Autoren
Myofasziale Triggerpunkte sind äußerst schmerzhaft, gehen mit dem Phänomen übertragener Schmerzen oder Empfindungen einher und lösen bei Provokation häufig bekannte Symptommuster von Patient*innen aus. Die aktuelle Evidenz gibt Hinweise, dass sich dieses Beschwerdebild therapieren lässt: Die Triggerpunkt-Therapie wirkt dabei peripher und zentral. Sie erhöht die Sauerstoffzufuhr in der therapierten Region und reguliert Schmerzen, Funktion sowie das Vegetativum.
