Zusammenfassung

Gastrointestinale Endoskopien bei Kindern stellen für die gesamte endoskopische Abteilung, inklusive des Assistenzpersonals, der beteiligten Ärzte und der Kollegen der Anästhesie, eine komplexe Herausforderung dar. Die Kenntnis spezieller Untersuchungen, Instrumente und Fragestellungen ist notwendig. Fragen zu strukturellen Voraussetzungen, Besonderheiten und medikolegale Aspekten in der Betreuung von Säuglingen, Kleinkindern, Kindern und Jugendlichen in einer endoskopischen Abteilung sollen in diesem Beitrag strukturiert beantwortet werden.
