Spezialisierung in der Endoskopie: Ist der Weg das Ziel?

Einleitung und Hintergrund

Die zeitliche Erreichbarkeit eines Krankenhauses ist für viele PatientInnen von großer Bedeutung. In einer aktuellen Umfrage der Deutschen Krankenhausgesellschaft (DKG) würden nur 15 % der Befragten eine Fahrzeit von mehr als 30 Minuten bis zur nächsten Klinik tolerieren [1].
