Die chirurgische Therapie bei Glaukom ist vielfältig und kann mithilfe eines Stufenschemas strukturiert angewendet werden. Selbstverständlich spielen persönliche Erfahrungen und chirurgische Kenntnisse eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Wahl der chirurgischen Therapie. Die Patientenauswahl stellt eine Schlüsselrolle dar und sollte nicht unterschätzt werden.
