Akuter Schwindel ist eines der häufigsten Leitsymptome in der Notfallmedizin. Neben der gezielten Anamnese erlaubt vor allem die korrekte körperliche Untersuchung eine frühe Zuordnung zu den verschiedenen Ursachen und schon prähospital das Stellen einer Verdachtsdiagnose. Dieser Artikel vermittelt Schritt für Schritt die dafür relevanten anamnestischen Informationen und körperlichen Untersuchungsschritte.
