Diagnostik der Armvenenthrombose

Tiefe Armvenenthrombosen (TAVT) sind wesentlich seltener als Beinvenenthrombosen. Es existiert kein diagnostischer Algorithmus für die Thrombose der oberen Extremität. Damit bleibt die farbkodierte Duplexsonografie der Standard der Diagnostik. Der folgende Artikel erläutert das Vorgehen und die Untersuchungsschritte bei Verdacht auf Armvenenthrombose.

Abstract

Deep vein thrombosis of the arm (TAVT) is much rarer than thrombosis of the leg veins. There is no diagnostic algorithm for thrombosis of the upper extremity. Color-coded duplex sonography therefore remains the standard diagnostic method. The following article explains the procedure and examination steps for suspected arm vein thrombosis.
