The EFSUMB Publications Committee is setting up a Journal Club with voluntary ultrasound
experts comprising all areas of medical ultrasonography. Each of the Journal Club
members may screen a defined list of Ultrasound journals with an Impact Factor plus
emerging journals for recently published interesting articles. The experts are expected
to select and briefly highlight articles giving valuable insights in the field of
medical ultrasound to the European Ultrasound Community. We are planning 4 Issues
per year, which will be published quarterly in an online newsletter. The contributors
will be listed and a Table of Contents displayed with links to the papers reviewed
will be provided. The aim is to show the abstract of the selected article expanded
with a short personal opinion focused on strengths and weaknesses of each publication.
