Osteopathie

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Im Verlauf des letzten Jahrzehnts erlangte der Begriff Osteopathie eine zunehmende öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit. Insbesondere eine Differenzierung zu Therapiekonzepten der Manuellen Medizin ist häufig erschwert. Historische und konzeptionelle Unterschiede werden betrachtet und anhand eines Fallbeispiels mit primär rheumatischer Genese verdeutlicht.

ABSTRACT

Over the past decade, the term osteopathy has received increasing public attention. In particular, a differentiation from therapy concepts of manual medicine is often difficult. Historical and conceptual differences are considered and illustrated using a case report with a primarily rheumatic origin.
