ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
Osteonekrose und Ödem des Markraumes nicht nur im Hüftkopf werden mittels radiologischer Methoden diagnostiziert und nur selten histopathologisch untersucht. In dieser Übersicht werden morphologische Korrelate für Ödem und Osteonekrose erläutert.
Summary
Although the diagnosis of the osteonecrosis and bone marrow edema is based on radiographic methods, histopathological analyses of bone tissues are scarce. Herein, we present an overview of histopathologic findings in osteonecrosis and bone marrow edema.
