Stellungnahme der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Hämatologie und medizinische Onkologie e.V. zu „COVID-19-Schutzimpfung bei Patienten mit aktiver Krebserkrankung“ (vom 27. Januar 2021)

Zusammenfassung

Bereits in der ersten Welle von COVID-19 in China und anschließend weltweit ergaben sich Hinweise auf eine besondere Gefährdung von Patienten* mit aktiver Krebserkrankung bei einer Infektion mit dem SARS-CoV-2-Virus. Aktuelle Daten bestätigen, dass COVID-19 bei diesen Patienten in allen Altersgruppen mit einer erhöhten Morbidität und vor allem einer signifikant erhöhten Mortalität assoziiert ist. Wir leiten daraus folgende Forderungen ab:

• rascher Zugang zur Schutzimpfung für

  • Patienten mit malignen hämatologischen Erkrankungen, insbesondere akuten und chronischen Leukämien, malignen Lymphomen und Multiplem Myelom;

  • Patienten mit fortgeschrittenen soliden Tumoren, deren Erkrankung nicht in Remission ist oder deren Remissionsdauer < 5 Jahre beträgt, sowie Patienten unter aktueller systemischer Therapie (ausgenommen Patienten mit ausschließlich antihormoneller Monotherapie).

In der bisherigen Priorisierung für den Zugang zur COVID-19-Schutzimpfung werden Krebspatienten in ihrer Gesamtheit erst in der dritten Stufe, d. h. mit „erhöhter“ Priorität berücksichtigt. Wir halten eine differenzierte Bewertung der Aktivität von Krebserkrankungen – auch in der praktischen Umsetzung – für sinnvoll und machbar.
