A post hoc analysis was done on the optical diagnosis of 128 diminutive polyps in 256 individuals with confirmed Lynch syndrome in expert centers. It showed a negative predictive value for neoplasia of 96.0% and an accuracy of 89.3% when optical diagnosis was provided with high confidence.
