Psychologie und Förderung der Händehygiene-Compliance

Neue Perspektiven für den Weg von der Motivation zum Verhalten

Obwohl die Händehygiene eine hocheffektive infektionspräventive Maßnahme ist, wird sie immer noch nicht überall ausreichend durchgeführt. Wie sich das Verhalten der Mitarbeiter positiv beeinflussen lässt, lesen Sie in diesem Beitrag.

Kernaussagen
  • Händehygiene veranschaulicht das grundsätzliche Dilemma von Prävention: Es ist ihr Erfolg, wenn „nichts passiert“, also etwas so gut (hier: jemand gesund bzw. nicht krank) bleibt, wie es ist.

  • Der „Faktor Mensch“ hat in der Infektionsprävention zentrale Bedeutung und macht psychologische Ansätze im Rahmen multimodaler Ansätze zu deren Förderung notwendig.

  • Beispielsweise auf Basis des Modells „Health Action Process Approach” (HAPA) lassen sich ungesunde bzw. krankmachende Gewohnheiten in Richtung einer gesunden bzw. präventiv wirksamen Verhaltensänderung beeinflussen.

  • Dies wird am ehesten durch zielgruppenorientierte, maßgeschneiderte Interventionen unter Verwendung von Verhaltensveränderungstechniken erreicht.
