Single-operator cholangioscopy of indeterminate biliary strictures was investigated
in this large multinational and prospective registry involving 289 patients, in the
Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) regions. It was found to be useful in visualizing
the stenosis and obtaining biopsies, with sensitivity and specificity based on biopsies
of 75 % and 100 %, respectively.
