PET/MR: aktuelle Einsatzmöglichkeiten in der onkologischen Diagnostik

Zusammenfassung

Die Positronenemissionstomografie/Magnetresonanztomografie (PET/MR) ist ein neues Hybridverfahren. Mit integrierten Hybridsystemen ist es möglich, funktionelle PET-Daten und morphologische und funktionelle MR-Daten gleichzeitig zu messen. Daher ergeben sich im Vergleich zu anderen Schnittbildverfahren deutliche Unterschiede, die insbesondere in der onkologischen Bildgebung zu beachten sind.

Abstract

Positron emission tomography/magnet resonance tomography (PET/MRI) is a new hybrid imaging modality that allows simultaneous acquisition of functional PET and MRI data as well as high quality morphological MRI. Due to its complexity, planning, acquisition and interpretation of oncological PET/MRI examinations have many pitfalls and peculiarities, that will be discussed in this review.
