Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Fallbericht zeigt die Therapie und das Behandlungskonzept eines Adoleszenten mit einer Klasse-III-Malokklusion. Der zum Start der Behandlung 17 Jahre alte Patient wies eine skelettale und dentale Klasse III auf. Es bestand ein Kreuzbiss bei den Zähnen 15 und 12–23, ein Kantbiss an den Zähnen 16, 14 und 13; der Zahn 13 war zusätzlich bukkal ausgeblockt. Die Therapie erfolgte mittels der von H. Kim in den frühen 1970er Jahren erstmals beschriebenen Multiloop Edgewise Archwire Technik.

Abstract

The present case report shows the therapy and treatment concept of an adolescent with a class III malocclusion. At the start of treatment the patient was 17 years old and had a skeletal and dental class III malocclusion. There was a crossbite on the teeth 15 and 12–23, an edge-to-edge relationship on 16, 14 and 13, the tooth 13 was buccaly displaced. Treatment was carried out with multiloop edgewise archwire technique first described by H. Kim in the early 1970s.
