Zusammenfassung
Die Arthroskopie am oberen Sprunggelenk ist heute ein Standardverfahren der operativen
Orthopädie. Die Operation ist risikoarm und mit hohem Patientenkomfort möglich. Einige
Operationen können auch ambulant durchgeführt werden. Die Bandbreite potenzieller
Indikationen wächst dabei stetig. So ist die Arthroskopie mittlerweile das Standardverfahren
zur Behandlung weichteiliger und knöcherner Impingement-Syndrome. Auch osteochondrale
Läsionen können häufig arthroskopisch bzw. arthroskopisch assistiert behandelt werden.
Früh- oder Spätsynovialektomien bei entzündlich rheumatischen Arthritiden werden ebenso
arthroskopisch durchgeführt wie die Akutbehandlung septischer Arthritiden. Daneben
können arthroskopische Verfahren heute in bestimmten Grenzen bei gewissenhafter Indikationsstellung
selbst bei manifester Arthrose erfolgreich angewandt werden.
Summary
Nowadays, arthroscopy of the upper ankle joint is a standard procedure of orthopedic
surgery. The procedure can be performed with little risk and high patient comfort.
Furthermore, ambulant surgery is possible for some of the procedures. The bandwidth
of potential indications is increasing steadily. Arthroscopic treatment of soft tissue
and bony upper ankle impingement is now the standard procedure. Osteochondral lesions
can be managed arthroscopic or arthroscopy-assisted as well. Early or late synovectomy
in systemic rheumatoid diseases is performed arthroscopically just as acute therapy
of septic arthritis. In addition, arthroscopic procedures can nowadays be used in
the treatment of manifest osteoarthritis in certain cases.
