Lianlian Wu et al. A deep neural network improves endoscopic detection of early gastric cancer without blind spots

The authors developed a novel system based on artificial intelligence with deep learning to detect early gastric cancer. The accuracy was found to be 93 % and it worked faster than endoscopists. An additional advantage is that it proactively tracks suspicious cancerous lesions and monitors blind spots during gastroscopy.
