Zahnsteinbildung kann bei einigen in Gefangenschaft lebenden Reptilienarten zu schwerwiegenden Zahn- und Kieferproblemen führen. Dies ist im Wesentlichen auf die Ernährung der Tiere und ihre anatomischen Gegebenheiten zurückzuführen. Lesen Sie, warum auch bei diesen Patienten eine regelmäßige Zahnkontrolle durch den Tierarzt empfehlenswert ist.
