Arteriovenöse Malformation: Sklerotherapie mit Polidocanol sicher und wirksam

Abstract

Angeborene arteriovenöse Malformationen (AVM) werden heute in der Regel mit einer Kombination aus Embolisation mit n-Butyl Zyanoacrylat (NBCA) und Sklerotherapie mit alkoholischer Lösung behandelt. Kitagawa und Kollegen haben nun in einer retrospektiven Studie untersucht, ob auch eine Kombination von NBCA und Sklerotherapie mit Polidocanol sicher und wirksam ist.
