Fracture of the lateral trochlear ridge after surgical stabilisation of medial patellar luxation

Summary

This report details the management of a dog with a fracture of the lateral trochlear ridge, which occured as a postoperative complication following trochlear block recession and tibial tuberosity transposition for treatment of medial patellar luxation. To the authors’ knowledge, this complication has not been previously reported.
