Abstract
We present a 10-year-old boy with seizures, delayed language development and mild mental retardation. Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain showed features of congenital bilateral perisylvian cortical disorganization suggestive of polymicrogyria. Diffusion tensor imaging was, performed to evaluate the motor tract fibers and arcuate fasciculi, which showed the normal orientation of the motor fibers and absence of the arcuate fasciculus.
