Besides this conventional analytical methods, field desorption mass spectrometry was successfully used for the first time for the determination and confirmation of the structures of naturally occurring lignan-glycosides and their acetyl derivatives. Two new lignan-glycosides and one new alkene-oligogly-coside were characterized.
