Ultraviolettstrahlen bei Krankheiten des Stütz- und Bewegungsapparates¹

Zusammenfassung

Bei Osteopathien erscheint die UV- bzw. Heliotherapie auch heute noch berechtigt. Darüber hinaus zeichnen sich positive Effekte der Lichttherapie aber auch bei Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), reaktiver Arthritis, systemischem Lupus erythematodes sowie bei Psoriasis arthropathica ab. Der Effekt einer Moorbäderkur kann bei RA durch adjuvante UV-Bestrahlungen verstärkt werden. Spezifische UV-Wirkungen verlaufen bei Osteopathien über eine Regulation des Mineralstoffwechsels, bei Gelenkerkrankungen über eine Immunmodulation. Bei entsprechender Dosierung können UV-Strahlen auch als unspezifischer Reiz wirken.

Summary

Even nowadays the ultraviolet therapy and heliotherapy, respectively, seems still to be justified. But moreover positive effects of the light-therapy also limn themselves in rheumatoid arthritis, reactive arthritis, systemic lupus erythematodes as well as in arthropathic psoriasis. The effect of a mud bath treatment can be enhanced by adjuvant ultraviolet irradiations in rheumatoid arthritis. Specific ultraviolet effects pass over a regulation of the mineral metabolism in osteopathies, via an immune modulation in diseases of the joints. With a corresponding dosage ultraviolet rays can also act as an unspecific stimulus.
