Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen 74jährigen Patienten mit rechtsseitigem Hypernephrom und Tumorthrombus in die V. cava berichtet, der konservativ behandelt wurde. Ohne Anhalt für Metastasen überlebte der Patient über 4 Jahre. Die Operationsergebnisse der Literatur relativieren die Operationsindikation der Patienten in dieser Altersgruppe.

Abstract

We report on a 74 year old patient with a hypernephroma on the right side and tumorthrombus extending to the vena cava, who was treated conservatively. Without evidence of metastases the patient lives over 4 years after diagnosis. The poor results in the literature of the operatively treated patients should influence the indication for tumornephrectomy and thrombectomy in this age-group of patients.
