Xanthogranulomatöse Pyelonephritis

Zusammenfassung

Die xanthogranulomatöse Pyelonephritis wird anhand von sieben eigenen Fällen beschrieben. Symptome sind hohes Fieber, Nierenschmerzen, laborchemisch e Entzündungszeichen, röntgenologisch funktionslose Niere, oft mit tumorverdächtigen Zeichen.

Die exakte endgültige Diagnose ergibt sich oft nur durch die operative Freilegung mit histologischer Untersuchung; differentialdiagnostisch ist in vielen Fällen ein maligner Nierentumor abzugrenzen. In unserem Krankengut findet sich die extrem seltene Konstellation eines hypernephroiden Nierenkarzinoms neben einer xanthogranulomatösen Pyelonephritis.

Abstract

The xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is described by means of seven special cases. Symptoms are high fever, pains of the kidneys, serum-marked signs of inflammation, radio-graphically functionless kidney, often with suspected symptoms of tumour.

Often the exact final diagnosis only results from operative exploration with histological examination; in many cases a malignant tumour of the kidneys must be excluded by differential diagnosis. Among our patients we find an extremely rare constellation of a hypernephroide cancer of the kidneys based on or simultaneously with a xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis.
