Zusammenfassung

Am Beispiel einer lymphangiomatösen Zyste der Nebenniere wird auf Morphologie, Diagnostik und Therapie der adrenalen Zyste eingegangen.

Die diagnostische Absicherung gelingt mit Sonographie und Computertomographie und in Zweifelsfällen mit ultraschallgeführter Punktion oder durch Phlebographie. Die Einteilung erfolgt in parasitäre, epitheliale, endotheliale und Pseudozysten.

Die Operation ist bei Symptomen indiziert.

Abstract

A case of a lymphangiomatous adrenal cyst prompted a review of morphological, diagnostic and therapeutic features of adrenal cysts. Diagnostic evidence is achieved by sonography and computed tomography and in cases of doubt by venography or by sonographically guided aspiration. Adrenal cysts may be classified in parasitic, endothelial, epithelial and pseudocysts. Surgical excision is advocated in case of symptoms like hypertension or pain due to displacement.
