Zusammenfassung

Als Alternative zur Katheterableitung bei inoperablen Patienten wurde ein intraprostatischer »partieller Katheter«, die »urologische Spirale«, empfohlen. Wir berichten über einen Patienten, bei dem eine dislozierte »urologische Spirale« zu Verletzungen der Harnöhre geführt hatte.

Abstract

For patients with infravesical obstruction due to BPH an intraprostatic partial catheter, the »Urologic Spiral«, has been recommended as an alternative to different forms of indwelling catheters. A case is reported in whom an »Urologic Spiral« led to severe trauma of the proximal urethra due to unsuspected dislocation.
