Das subkutane »Sickerfenster«-eine neue, organschonende Hydrozelenoperation

Zusammenfassung

Die neue Methode besteht in einer subkutanen Fensterbildung am oberen Hydrozelenpol ohne Präparation der ganzen Hydrozelenhülle. Die Hydrozele wird durch dieses Fenster akut entleert. Sie verkleinert sich weiter durch den Tonus des Kremasters und der Tunica dartos. Eine Wiederfüllung kommt durch das ständige Aussickern der Flüssigkeit durch die fixierte Öffnung und deren subkutane Resorption nicht zustande. Der Hoden bleibt, von seinen Hüllen umgeben, gleitfähig. Postoperative ödematöse Schwellungen oder Hämatome wurden nicht beobachtet.

Abstract

The new method of operation of the hydrocele is effected by producing a drainage window on the upper pole of the hydrocele without preparing the whole skin of the hydrocele. The hydrocele is immediately emptied by opening the tunica vaginalis. It is furthermore diminued by the contraction of the cremaster and of the tunica dartos. Refilling is avoided by the constant drainage of the liquid through the permanent opening and its subcutaneous resorption. The testicle, surrounded by its regular skins, remains moveable. Edematous swellings after operations or hematomes were not be observed.
